Khaled Hadj Ibrahim1 (in Arabic: خالد حاج ابراهيم), known by the stage name Cheb Khaled then just Khaled, born February 29, 1960 in Oran in Algeria, is an Algerian singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist from rai. He started recording at the beginning of his adolescence under the name of Cheb Khaled (Arabic for "Young" Khaled, as opposed to the traditionalist former sheikhs) and became the most famous Algerian singer at the international level in the Arab world and through several continents. His popularity earned him the unofficial title of "King of Rai". His most famous songs in France are Didi, Aïcha and C'est la vie.
