Fadel Chaker (in Arabic فضل شاكر, pronounced: / fadˤl ʃaːkɪr /), whose real name is Fadel Abderrahmane Shamandar, born April 1, 1969 in Sidon (Saïda) in Lebanon, is a Lebanese pop singer.
Chaker was born to a Palestinian mother and a Lebanese father in the Palestinian camp of Ain Héloué, in Saïda.
Fadel Shamandar began his career singing at weddings in the Palestinian camp. He later changes his name to Chaker.
His first album was marketed in the mid-1990s and at the time of his glory, all his songs were popular with the public.
